What a weekend!
This weekend was a weekend of firsts for you! Your first ride on the subway. Your first ride on an Amtrak train. Your first ride in a taxi. The first time you slept 7 hours at night. You. go. girl.
Our trip on Amtrak was a mess, by the way — delayed at the start from New York, we crawled along the tracks and finally arrived at Union Station 6 hours later. And you were perfect the entire ride! Even the businessmen who were in the seats behind us commented on your “impressive” behavior!
Mackenzie picked out a fabulous Valentine’s Day outfit for you - complete with headband and tutu, just perfect - and Nina and Papa, Auntie Erin, and me and your dad set out to take pictures of the cousins… what were we thinking?!?
We had a great weekend, and are counting down the minutes until we can see everyone again!
